ACT4FUN CHILDREN'S THEATRE is a local children's theatre company with a difference!! It was set up around 9 years ago with it's former name 'Dimensions' and 5 years ago was given it's brand new name 'ACT4FUN' and children's productions in Barry have never been the same since!!

This company is all about having fun through theatre whilst attaining a very professional standard of production. ACT4FUN believes in giving everyone a fair chance from whatever financial background they come from, which is why the weekly 'sub' is only £1!! People may ask ....'Why this cheap?' .... well as we said, ACT4FUN is a company with a difference. Theatre doesn't need to cost huge amounts of money, at ACT4FUN you get the chance to shine in one of our fantastic productions without breaking the bank!!

This summer ACT4FUN completed it's 9th project 'Reverse and Diverse' which was extremely successful. From the 250 people who viewed this production, the ratings were at our famous high standard and this production kept our very prestigious reputation. Other produtions include, 'Beauty IS a Beast', 'Westenders', 'Cinderella Rock', 'Thank You for the Music', 'Phantom of the Pantomime', 'The Sound of Summer' and 'Now that I Can Dance'. Act4Fun recently was invited to the Mayor of The Vale's coffee morning where money was raised for ACT4FUN and a speech made to the people of Barry about the company. Director, Christian Bullen and former director, Rosanna Denyer were thanked for 'helping the youth of the Vale' and the ACT4FUN team were commended for their high standard of dedication and commitment.

ACT4FUN has a large waiting list and currently has 65 members, but please don't hesitate to contact us as we have some specific vacancies! Our Christmas production 'MR STARMAKER' is all set to go and promises no disappointment to the cast or audience!
